The Eastern Africa Fusion and Liaison Unit was established by a resolution of the AU Peace and Security Council and operates with the support and in collaboration with various strategic partners who include; The African Union (AU), CISSA, Inter-Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD), East African Community (EAC), International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR/ICGLR-JICF), UFL- Sahel and the African Center for Study and Research on Terrorism (ACSRT/CAERT).
